game crash

    I'm having a problem with minecraft crashing at the mojang logo. I've re-installed both minecraft and java, but still nothing. anyone else having this issue?

    i did try to install the optifine earlier, but the game ran shortly after i installed it. now its not getting past mojang logo

    Can you reinstall again making sure to wipe out your .minecraft folder:
    (In windows press Windows key + R, type %appdata% and delete .minecraft)

    Can you post the contents of your .minecraft/logs/latest.log after attempting to log in?

    this is all it says. and this was from this morning

    i've also noticed that i can't open my volume mixer when trying to run minecraft. that's a new one as well

    Seems odd, and this is after a complete wipe including your .minecraft folder? Have you updated java?

    Could you open Minecraft, and while doing this, run SndVol32.exe in cmd. Post the output it gives
