Not necasarily true... I have a friend who has done this before, and (according to them) all you need to do is put a bucnh of alts around so that the spawners will load, then funnel them into a central killing area, where the main acct is. All you need to do for the alts is move them before the 30 min kick timer sets in. Although I haven't tried this myself (due to not having any alts), this is only according to my friend.

Bart, you need to be more specific on what you are bidding for. My bid is still the highest with proportions, as I am spending 8dbs per spawner, which goes to a total of 120, if I were to buy everything. Bart is buying a spawner 6.4 dbs each.

I am dummy are trying to buy this claim and transform it into a community zoo & mob farming area, we can pool our abs together if necessary (so the upper limit is 64+70 db), if anyone wanna join the project feel free to add to the bid), invest for everyone's greater good!

Hey guys,

in the light of recent comments, I'd like to clarify that using alt accounts to activate one or multiple spawners while you're playing on your main account is not allowed, as per the Safe Survival Official Rules, article 4, paragraph 5.

A more detailed explanation as to why it isn't allowed can be found in this appeal, which also constitutes precedent for this rule's application.

If you know of any players that have infringed such rule, we'd be grateful if you were to file a report via the appropriate means so it can be dealt with accordingly.

Keep that in mind if ever developing/building a grinder out of these spawners.

Well, thanks for posting the current bid offers on the forums /s. I would’ve happily bidded more.

 

To be honest this IS in general, not selling... nor is he obligated to post private offers on here even if it were under selling.

 

No I definitely agree. I just think it’s a scumbag thing to not publicly post it so that you can win. That’s the equivalent of being in an auction and whispering something to the auctioneer and then also telling the auctioneer to not say anything either.

 

He never said that the spawners were exclusively buy-able via this auction (which wasn't created or approved of by him but more on that later).

All he said was:
"Everything is for sale at the right price "

Someone offered him the right price, and he took it, as I said before he is not obligated to post private offers on here, he never said nor agreed to have an auction, you all went off on your own and made this an auction thread yourselves in a thread on the general section.

There is no scum baggery on Runes part here, you all made the assumption that he'd only sell it to the winner of this auction that he didn't create, sanction, or give his blessing to (approve of), and instead of playing this auction game that you all created and were so caught up with, someone decided to go straight to the source and buy it out from under your nose.

Although it might not seem all that fair to not publicly post your bid, that doesn't make it 'scumbaggy.' All Knas said was this:

I'd say it's fair for someone to PM Knas their offer so that it can't be outbid.

Considering how much you were trying to outbid Bart during that auction, which was pretty scumbaggy yourself (nobody cares how much you're paying per spawner), it seems pretty hypocritical to call the anonymous bidder a 'scumbag' when you weren't being perfect yourself.
