    Hi everyone,

We've decided to take a new approach to xray bans that is more fair to our players.

Now first time x-rayers and hacked client users will receive a 14 day ban their first time. As always, 100% of player valuables are taken away as well.
Then permanent for the 2nd ban.

This applies for all bans going forward from now.
If you have already been banned for a first or second time xray/hacked clients use, then your next will be permanent.

  3. I like this. First ban is temp and gives them a chance to think about what they did and to change their ways. If they don't change then boom! Perma'd.

Is x-raying about x-ray texture packs, or does it even include the glitch (that I assume hasn't been patched out yet) that lets you locate caverns, but not ores?

    Not allowed. See the rules.
"The only game modifications allowed are Optifine, shaders, and Vivecraft."

  11. Probably worth clarifying as to whether this rule update also applies for other prohibited mods ie the aforementioned minimap mod or Schematica. If I'm not mistaken, they're not considered hacked clients.

New rules are for xray and hacked clients. That includes macros and any other mod

  13. question: will they get 100% of their diamonds taken away including the diamonds they didn't x ray?

  14. Yeah, no. 100% of all valuables. Not all diamonds, all valuables that the player owns. My understanding is that this is partially a punitive measure, and partially, well, how do you know which diamonds they "didn't x ray"? And which items that they own were purchased with legitimate diamonds?

  15. Are things like event items going to taken away since they count as a valuble and you said 100% of valubles will be taken from the xrayer

  16. I don't believe that taking all of their items that they obtained fairly is not just. It's like going to prison for shooting the sheriff and the deputy when you didn't kill the deputy, but killed the sheriff. (Thanks to Bob Marley for that song lyric)

Nothing about the way items are confiscated had changed. We are still confiscating items the same as before.

Its not only hard/impossible to trace certain transactions/crafts done with x-rayed ores, its also a deterrent against x-raying as a whole.

I'm aware, but it's an unjust way to do it, is it not?
